Bankview Calgary Portrait Project Week 10

For 10 weeks I will be photographing residents within the Bankview community as part of a photo project. The goal is to meet and photograph interesting people who reside in the inner city of Calgary. A very interesting read from a website I frequent quite often. I am asked on a fairly regular basis why I enjoy street photography. Add to that how talking to potential subjects and asking to snap their photo takes away from the “purity” of it. I never really have a solid answer for them in the moment but this piece helped to clarify it for me as much as it could for others.
