At the Calgary Courts Centre on April 4, 2013 the ongoing trial of Meredith Katharine Borowiec, 31, is proceeding. Borowiec is the Calgary woman accused of killing two of her newborn babies in 2008 and 2009. Borowiec pleaded not guilty to the two charges of second-degree murder. No bodies were recovered from the incidents in 2008 or 2009. Read more
